in our Faith and in Our Walk with God we can get caught up in stagnant situations.I personally had this happen to me and I felt lost and unproductive.
Everything I was involved in felt Like I was going through the motions without any of the emotion:IE Mens Clubs , Serving as Usher, Special Events, Even going to same service same time every week.
The Holy Spirit brought this to my attention,by listening to The Holy Spirit daily it will help you discover things you don’t realize in the flesh.I had prayed and asked God to make any changes in my life that would help me get out of this situation. When we get use to things we get comfortable and we get lazy and we then be come stagnant, many of us don’t like change thats human nature.
Even though the things we are doing maybe Godly or spiritual this doesn’t mean you cant feel stuck.Jesus is in us and with us , I say this a lot but we need to absorb the idea.We have the power in us to make these changes but we must do our part so God can do his part.
When we aren’t advancing or developing or changing or progressing in our journey with the Lord we are stagnant and growth is not going to happen. We must push past this and read and get involved and surround our selves with solid Godly people.Pray Daily and keep faithful and obedient.
John 4:13 Jesus replied, “Anyone who drinks this water will soon become thirsty again. 14 But those who drink the water I give will never be thirsty again. It becomes a fresh, bubbling spring within them, giving them eternal life.”
Proverbs 3:11 My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:
Proverbs 12:1 Whoever loves correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is stupid.
Psalms 37:5 Commit everything you do to the Lord.Trust him, and he will help you.
People like to be around God seeking people. When you find that person or persons in your life that are on fire for the Lord you need to stay around them. These God loving people that are on the path to please God and not the world will strengthen you in ways beyond imagination
Like its says in Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron,so a friend sharpens a friend.
So the next time you’re feeling like you’re standing still or not making any progress.Pray and ask God to do his will and allow the Holy Spirit to guide you to where God has a plan for you.Your life was intended to be joyful and happy and you should feel like this in all things you do.
