What is it to wear the name Christian ?
Colossians 3:12 Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
When you wear the jersey there are privileges and undeniable responsibility.Wearing the name Christian Shows people you have a Light shining in you ( Jesus )
HOPE from which (Holy Spirit )Speaks to us daily.
Purpose that ( God the father ) has instilled in each of us that have been created in his image .
To bear his name means you need to , Let your light stand out and be odd be different wear it .Jesus will shine through you with your actions .Be a light to others. I have been fortunate in my life that I had an employee of mine asked me “ I want what you Have ! This gave me the opportunity to bring him to church.
We don’t live by the ways of the world ,Only the ways of Lord will be bring Light to your Life !
Romans 12:2 Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.
Ordinary people can do Extraordinary things , Jesus took the craziest wild and broken people and turned them to disciples that saved thousands of people with their walk with Jesus.
Wear the name and you will speak up and stand out ,share the news share the good word.Who is waiting on you to share the news today ?
Take Off the Old and put on the New
Ephesians 4:22-24
Throw off your old sinful nature and your former way of life, which is corrupted by lust and deception. Instead, let the Spirit renew your thoughts and attitudes.Put on your new nature, created to be like God—truly righteous and holy.
You can’t expect to go back to Old ways and expect New Life.You need to change you’re thinking and change the people you associate with.Like I tell my kids all the time , show me your friends and I’ll show you your future.The people you hang out with have a significant impact on your growth and your overall life.I could spend 2 hours on just that but maybe we will talk about this again in a future blog LOL.Read the verse below it says it all real clear .

Change is a choice nobody can make you do. Work it out with fear and trembling take it seriously.Pray and surround your self with other believers. Get the right voices and you will make the right choices.If you’re Not changing you’re not growing.
We are all Part of something Big Don’t think Small .We should be building one another up and not tearing each other down.

Work out your salvation work it out like going to the gym, be the spiritual person God wants you to be.If you don’t work on it then it will never strengthen or grow.God has a purpose for your life and we need to do our part for God to do his part.

As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light.10 “Once you had no identity as a people;now you are God’s people.Once you received no mercy; now you have received God’s mercy.”
1 Peter 3:14-15
But even if you suffer for doing what is right, God will reward you for it. So don’t worry or be afraid of their threats. Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your hope as a believer, always be ready to explain it.
Philippians 2:12-13 –
Dear friends, you always followed my instructions when I was with you. And now that I am away, it is even more important. Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.
We need to Show the world who we are as Christians , the Lord Shines through us everyday and we need to be that light to others who don’t know about Jesus.So Lets put on the name Christian and show it off .You will see how others will ask you questions and become interested in the life you have been given.Share your testimonial get to know others, and invite them to Church this holiday season its a perfect time to bring your friends and family.
