God dying on the cross for our sins was the Ultimate Gift
John 3:16 – For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The gift of love and everlasting life was given to us on that day , his love and grace was even shown minutes before he took his last breath,when he told the sinner on the cross next to him .I will save a place for you in paradise . He was loving others even when he was in pain and he was suffering.
The reason your even reading this blog today is because of the degree of his sacrifice he made for each and every one of us .
He didn’t die because he was weak he died because he was strong and Love is power.His love – His grace – His wisdom he has given us is the Ultimate Gift.
Isaiah 40:29 – He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless.
Crazy love will make a strong God go weak on the cross and humble him self to the death on the cross.That day on that cross he could have called thousands of angels , he could have killed all of the guards but he didn’t.
Love is Power ! Being hateful towards others isn’t power.We have it all wrong when we think like that.The Ultimate gift is powerful and full of Love.Its about Not trying to hate others or get back at people who did you wrong in life.Thats far from being powerful.
1 Corinthians [ Love Is the Greatest ] If I could speak all the languages of earth and of angels, but didn’t love others, I would only be a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. If I had the gift of prophecy, and if I understood all of God’s secret plans and possessed all knowledge, and if I had such faith that I could move mountains, but didn’t love others, I would be nothing. If I gave everything I have to the poor and even sacrificed my body, I could boast about it; but if I didn’t love others, I would have gained nothing.
He knew me when I broke all the rules and He still so loved me.People who said they loved me left me down but he didn’t ever leave my side.My Lord and Savior always stands by me through all things I go through in Life .His love is everlasting.
After all these years being saved. Same grace that got me through me adolescence is getting me through my adult hood.It help you and I with business, it helped you with your attitude , it changed your disposition.I’m still opening it everyday in my walk with the Lord ,I’m still unraveling it finding life changing things , its still relevant , its for ever changing me ,its still thirst quenching, it’s the Gift that keeps giving.
The Ultimate Gift stopped me from doing bad things ,it opened doors I couldn’t see.It brought me back when I went to far away , he fought for me , It closed doors for me that weren’t his plan of my life
The Ultimate Gift was given to us on that day on that cross and we need to always remember this no matter what holidays come and go and what season we face in our walk with the Lord.
