John 4:11-15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?”
13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”
What’s in the water that you’re drinking ? Do you continually thirst for more each day ?
People in Life will try and drink from many different places.Here are just some Examples : Material Possessions,Adultery,Religion,andDrugs are just few Big things people try to fulfill the void they feel everyday.Soon as we obtain these things in our lives we realize the void is till present and then the cycle continues again and again over and over.After a period of time this type of behavior will destroy your life and the lives of the people around you.
I personally battled this unquenchable thirst for many years,to the point that my life was spiraling out of control and then I hit rock bottom.This need of always wanting things had cost me everything I had built in my life.Until one day I got on my knees and saidGod I’m done. Lord I’m a failure at doing things my way. I screamed out to God with my heart open and my eyes teared up and said, do whatever you want in my life I’m yours and you know better than me . I can’t take this pain anymore.
From that day my life started to change in ways beyond words.After a few months had gone by I found a good bible based church and I rededicated my life to the Lord.I look back now and see the dramatic changes that God has made in my Life and in my family. I know I’m here today because I choose to drink from the correct source, that is Jesus Christ.The one and only way to truly quench your Thirst.
If you haven’t made that Life changing decision to have Jesus come into your Life and fill that thirst you need quenched.
Then Say this Pray Out Loud :
Dear Lord,
I admit that I am a sinner. I have done many things that don’t please you. I have lived my life for myself. I am sorry and repent. I ask you to forgive me. I believe that you died on the cross for me, to save me. You did what I could not do for myself. I come to you now and ask you to take control of my life, I give it to you. Help me to live every day in a way that pleases you. I love you, Lord, and I thank you that I will spend all eternity with you.
Amen ! !
Now that you have made this decision and you have said this pray , you are saved and your in the lambs book of life and your salvation is sealed for eternity nobody can take this from you.
