When we are trusting our King our eyes are not on the world. It’s not on our bank account . It’s not on what others think of me. They’re focused on how to be a better son, a better believer, a better witness. Jesus said to go make disciples. Matt 28:20 A disciple is a follower and he doesn’t say that our walk will be easy he says that he will be with us he says in John 1733 in the world you will have trouble but be of good cheer I have overcome the world. When we’re walking with the Lord,He is our first priority. we are in a relationship with the creator of the universe and spending time with him should be our highest joy

In His Word, God perfectly illustrates what that life is like. Jesus said, I am the Good Shepherd, who keeps,protects,provides and cares for My sheep. God describes Himself as a Father loving and blessing His children. 1 Jn 3:1”Behold,look,see, what manner of love God has bestowed on us that we should be His adopted children. In Phil 3:10, Paul says,”That I may know Him, and the power of His resurrection, and the fellowship of His sufferings, being conformed to His death.” Thru His resurrection we have power over death. Walking in fellowship, communication, with Him we can relate to His sufferings and He to ours. Being conformed to His death is obediently an humbly walking where He calls.

In Matthew 6, Jesus warns us about serving money or possessions. He tells us “no one can serve two masters”. He reminds us to “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all our needs will be met.”

The great hymn,Holy,Holy,Holy not only describes our God, it has this great line” Early in the morning, our song shall rise to Thee.” God invites us into fellowship,relationship. Peter says, Casting all your cares on Him, for He cares for you.” 1 Peter5:7 Our Father desires our time and we are talking to the One who can solve our problems and bless our efforts. He sent His Son to solve our sin problem and to model our God. “I and My Father are One. He who has seen Me has seen the Father.” Jn 15 He sent the Holy Spirit to live inside us, to guide us into all Truth, Jn 15, to assist our prayers, Rom 8;26 and is the security of our salvation. Eph 1:13,14. when we realize what He has done, all we can do is “Praise You with my whole heart.” Ps 86:12
