Prov 23:7 “For as a man thinks in his heart, so he becomes.” Prov 4: “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it flows the issues of life. We become what we think about. As a Christian, we are commanded to think godly and humbly: what does GOD think? Of me and my behavior? In life when we sit around thinking things are going to change without taking the first steps nothing will happen. We will get worse and worse and then complain more and more and blame everything and everyone except ourselves

This cream will not penetrate deep enough to the underlining issues he has and some problems can’t be solved by us applying a topical cream to fix what we see on the surface ,sometimes we need a surgeon to go deeper and fix the pain and suffering we might be experiencing

That’s where Jesus comes into to our lives .We needed a Savior and God knew we couldn’t fix our problems ourselves or with some topical cream. He knew we would need a surgeon in some situations Rom 6:23 “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life thru Jesus Christ our Lord.

Jesus is our Surgeon. He knows how to reach and renew the ailment we might be experiencing in our lives In Luke 5, a man really had a back ache. He was paralyzed. His friends took him to see Jesus and be healed but they could not get into the house because of the crowds. Being resourceful and loving their friend, they climbed on the roof. They removed the tiles and lowered their friend to Jesus on a stretcher. When Jesus saw their faith, He met his true need, He said” Your sins are forgiven.” This outraged the Pharisees who said only God can forgive sin. This is another proof that Jesus was God. Jesus, refuting their claim, said,”So that you may know that the Son of Man has the power to forgive sins, Arise take up your bed and walk.” And the man walked out! Glorifying God! His faith had healed his physical AND spiritual need. Physical ailments may be painful, but spiritual ailments wound the spirit and have eternal consequences. Jesus can solve both needs when we trust Him.

Creams are like self help books or Social media groups. They might fill your ego or give you encouraging words for that moment but Jesus is the great physician he goes deeper into our lives when we accept him into our life . He takes the pain away, and comforts us with his grace and love and gives us hope and joy ! John 10:10 I am come that they may have life, and have it more abundantly.”We don’t need temporary solutions in our lives we need a savior to lift us up and fix us from the inside out ..
