When you try to fix things in your own power your missing out on Gods Best for your life and your purpose .The adversity has the answers you need so look around in the storm.
Everyone goes through this in their Christian Walk with Jesus.Storms and Seasons we all call them different things, but these situations that God allows are Gods way to get our attention when we get too far from the Lord.When we are in these seasons of our lives God is trying to get our attention to listen and watch what is happening in the storm ie: Our life situations . Psalms 46:11 Be still and know that I am God.The season has the answers in it but we need to know God is with us through the storms.Psalms 46:1 God is our refuge and strength in times of trouble.We need to not try and stop the pain and suffering we might be going through but endure the storm and pray without ceasing 1 Thessalonians 5:16 and believe and trust (have strong Faith in) the process.
James 1:2-8 My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways
We need to trust and have faith in God when these storms come our way.The storms are for our good don’t look at them with the wrong perspective.The promise of Romans 8:28 that God works for our good “in all things” is reassuring. It means that no matter the circumstance, God is working all things together for our good to help use get closer to him or for.him to clean up things in your life that he knows are coming up to be a problem for you and these storms strengthen us and prepare us for worse things that might be coming ahead in life or maybe its to adjust you and who you are in Christ.
Think of it like this very simply a father corrects his children when they do wrong and he loves them this is why he corrects them even if they think they don’t need any correction the father knows our future and knows what we need.It took me years to figure this out the hard way and even today I struggle with this sometimes.
What most Christians don’t understand are that storms are the most important tools God uses to grow us and mold us to protect us and strengthen our Faith and our character .
If you’re saying to yourself well this doesn’t apply to me my life is going well and I have none of these things happen to my life .Well a couple of things,
If your not in a storm you’re going to be going into one its not if its when and if you’re not in a storm a person you know or love is in one or going to be in one.
Storms make you stronger so you can encourage others that will encounter similar situations.Storms mold us and teach us
You might be in a storm and NOT even know.
This is one of the the worst storms because when we don’t even see it around us, this means our conviction button is broken and their is more of us and less of him , this is very dangerous place to be in. This shows we are for sure very far from God.When we become less of him and more of the world this is what occurs we don’t notice the storms because they seem natural and feel like an everyday day event in our lives.This is not what God wants in any way, and this means your heading down a wrong walk of life and not the life God has for you.The storms are put on us by severity of what God needs to teach us or its by how much of your attention does need to get for how far away from him you are.
John 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”,
Most see these storms as drama and disaster and trouble. Or we all complain and say where is God why is this happening to me Im a good person .Or we argue and ask where is God he is not talking to me or he is not answering my prayers when will this be over ? Or we all try and pray for God to take this away from us.
Lord I can’t do this help me and then we beg him to get this storm to go away.
What we need to do is stop and relax for min and look around and have the correct perspective of the situation.God is shaping us , educating us , and preparing us on what’s still to come, and he is showing us where we need correction and discipline in our lives that might be getting to far from his hand. Do soldier’s prepare and trainee before going into war ? YES…..When you’re in a storm you need to stop trying to get out of it and instead look to see what God is trying to tell you and teach you and what he is preparing you for he knows what’s still to come and is only trying help and equip us.
When we try to fix the storm and get away from it in our own power ( the Flesh ). We all miss out on Gods Best for our lives. which is his purpose and destiny he has for our lives.Jeremiah 29:11For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
These storms are so very important to our spiritual walk with the lord, and we can never get to where God wants us to be if we stop the molding and discipline and correction .God is using the storm to help us with all these things and more then we know but he does know.
